Know More, Live More Community Health Fair
Hue-Man Partnership and Concordia University–St. Paul’s School of Nursing came together to host the first “Know More, Live More” Community Health Fair at the Center for Changing Lives in Minneapolis. The events took place October 30 and November 6, 2026.
On the first day, 70 community members shopped by to take part in free blood pressure screenings, wellness and substance use education, and completed sleep quality questionnaires. Attendees also received connections to community food assistance.
For the nursing students from Concordia, the event was a chance to put classroom lessons into practice and to experience community health work firsthand. For Hue-MAN, it was another step in our ongoing work to create changes in health care systems that ensure people receive the care they need in accessible ways.
We’re deeply grateful to our partners at Concordia University–St. Paul School of Nursing for their commitment to community-based care and to every participant who made our health fairs a success
